Portfolio - Hand Finishing

When an item is cast, the material, usually bronze, has a rough texture. This needs sanding and flatting.

Lettering requires the corners and counters to be cut by hand to give a crisp finish. The face of the letters can be polished to give a contrast to the background texture.
